| Cut-to-length and cutting
machine Kath 2000
Simple operation, rapid conversion and use of the
most modern technology distinguish this cut-to-length automat.
For example in connection with an extruder catheter tubes can be
processed at high speed. Cuts, sorts and stores up to 110 m/min.
Range of application
The Kath 2000 is a flexible cut-to-length automat for efficient
cutting to length and sorting of tubes behind an extruder. Tube
cross-sections from 0.3 to 8 mm and copper wire up to 2.0 mm
can be processed.
Technology
With a programmable AC servo motor the product is cut to length
at a very high speed without stopping the material and at the
same time is sorted and stored. The speed of the extruder is
coupled with that of the cut-to-length machine Kath 2000 and
automatically matches its speed.
When starting the extruder, material that is not within specifications
runs through the cut-to-length machine Kath 2000. When the required
specification is reached, the material to be cut is released for
cutting and the cutting process starts. Material out of specification
is separated and runs through the cut-to-length machine.
User-friendliness
The well-thought out and compact layout facilitates the change
over of tubes in a very short period of time. The tube guides
are easily changed with very little effort. Both operation and
the entire material handling process are carried out in a convenient
and simple manner. The proven touch screen operation provides
for visible and easily understandable operation.
